GENERAL BONFIX threaded fittings are coupling pieces for making a watertight and airtight connection between appliances, appendages and pipes.

APPLICATION BONFIX threaded fittings, nose pieces and tap extensions have been developed for use in water supply installations, compressed air installations and central heating installations. The fittings are suitable for connecting appliances, appendages and couplings. The local regulations for the various fields of application must be observed. Other application options are only permitted, depending on pressure/temperature and medium, after written permission from BONFIX B.V.

TECHNICAL DATA The BONFIX standard brass threaded fittings are manufactured from the best brass. The straight fittings of CuZn39Pb3 and the pressed parts of CuZn4OPb2. Concealed connections that have been laid in the ground or connections that are located in an environment that is aggressive to brass must be adequately protected.

Installation instructions

First remove any contamination from the thread. Then wrap the threads (with the thread) with hemp, sealant or Teflon PTFE tape. Twist threads together. Hemp can only be used for central heating systems.

QUALITY MARK The BONFIX threaded fittings, nose pieces and tap extensions do not have a quality mark.
